Hey there, I’m Madie (she/her)!

I’m a Cincinnati native, cat lover, and beginner yogi who is always trying to find ways to spend more time outside. And although I will be moving to the Columbus area soon, Cincinnati- and the people in it- will always hold a special place in my heart.

My therapeutic approach: I am a firm believer in the power of slowing down and being kinder to yourself. Our sessions together will be less about “fixing” and more about noticing- what you’re feeling, what you need, and how to offer yourself grace through it all. We’ll work together to identify the changes you’d like to make, gradual steps to get there, and how to support yourself in a compassionate way throughout. Through the lenses of self-compassion and mindfulness, with elements of DBT and polyvagal theory, clients will have the opportunity to create a compassionate, loving, awareness that encourages reconnection with their body, breath, and inner voice.

We might be a good fit if: You feel anxious, overwhelmed, or like your brain never slows down. You want to stop being so hard on yourself all the time. You’re tired of pretending everything’s fine when it isn’t. You want to dissect and redefine your inner narrative. You want to learn how to truly show up for yourself in moments of suffering.

Areas of Expertise: Life transitions, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, early and young adulthood stressors, coping skills. I am passionate about providing affirming care to LGBTQ+ individuals. Individuals aged 16+.

Self Pay rate: $100 for individuals. Not accepting insurance at this time.

Personal Information: I was born and raised right here in Cincinnati, and I completed both my undergraduate and graduate degrees at Northern Kentucky University. In my free time, I love to travel the country with my partner in our van, hang out with our cats, or hike local trails.
